Gus is living with Hannah, Holly and Ted. Reggie is being thoroughly spoiled by Jo and Neil. Bobby is also with Hannah, Holly and Ted. Maisie is staying here. We are a family of four living in the North West of England. We currently have twelve cats: four Selkirk, seven British shorthairs and one domestic shorthair moggy. All of our cats are much loved family pets and as you will see from our Cats' pages, each has his or her own unique purrsonality. My name is Lyn and I am responsible for Furkids. FURKIDS is a GCCF registered prefix. I am married to Bruce with two children, James (age 10) and Elisabeth (age 8). We have twelve kitties living with us at the moment and a colony of stick insects who are very much a part of the family too. The enclosed garden for the kittens was completed in February and gives them safe access to outdoors.
The garden was planted with grass, catnip, alyssum and sage, making sure that all the plants were safe for kittens. The catnip never gets a chance to grow! We also installed cat climbing frames and a variety of toys. |
Chloe delivered her kittens safely on Sunday 8th June. She delivered nine so we are helping her with the feeding and toileting as this is a huge litter. This is a very exciting and thrilling time for us. More news to follow.
Chloe's kittens at 4 hours old!!!! Chloe is having help from the excellent mothering skills of Vannie, a fantastic foster mum who has taken over three of the babies.

The kittens are nearly 2 weeks old now and are growing quickly. Chloe has decided to move hers to a corner!
